Once a month for a week or more\, local and international professional dance artists are invited to join the company’s morning classes\, which  include ballet\, contemporary\, somatic\, and yoga practices. Classes are suitable for 18+ years\,* and perfect for professionals and advanced students. ŻfinMalta provides a space where participants can further develop their professional practice\, make connections\, and experience life inside Malta’s National Dance Company. \n  \n*We consider participation from younger individuals on a case-to-case basis\, usually accepting requests from participants pursuing vocational training. Through various physical tasks and limitations\, participants will be lead through exploration of different qualities of movement\, with special attention on the concepts of time and space. Tara has had the opportunity to perform on prestigious stages and festivals including Sadler’s Wells\, Festspielhaus St Pölten\, Torino Danza\, Grand Théâtre de Provence and many more. Tara was previously an artist with ŻfinMalta for five seasons\, creating new works with choreographers including artistic director Paolo Mangiola\, Jacopo Godani and Sergiu Matis\, alongside re-staging works by\, Roy Assaf and Tania Carvalho among others. She has been leading the Iżfen contemporary sessions since their start in 2021 and is excited to be back leading this growing and developing platform. \n  \n\n\nIżfen is a space where people of any dance experience are welcome. During Zoe’s open sessions we move away from focusing on aesthetics and learning stylised movement and move more towards finding and investing in how each of our bodies like to move.
