Open Rehearsals take audiences behind the scenes of ŻfinMalta’s productions during the creation process. This is a rare opportunity to preview the work before opening night and what goes into making a dance production for stage. Join open rehearsals for each production throughout the season to see the dancers at work and meet the many artistic collaborators who bring a work to life.
Audiences are granted free entrance with a ticket to the open rehearsal’s relevant performance: Interested participants not in possession of a ticket for the relevant performance can buy an open rehearsal ticket for €5.

ŻfinMalta invites you to an open rehearsal with Sita Ostheimer, for a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of her brand new work, Mortal Heroes, premiering at Teatru Manoel on 23rd, 24th, and 25th May. Sita Ostheimer’s work is a journey in search of the ‘Other’, through her distinctive movement language and approach to sound and light. In Mortal Heroes she leads us on a journey of deep self-reflection and remembrance, of leaving and returning.
