Marti Blanco Romeu

Biography

Born in Barcelona in 2001, Marti started dancing in an elementary school where dance was mixed with music, later he studied at the professional dance conservatory of the Institut del Teatre, Barcelona, where he worked with various guest dancers and established choreographers. Marti graduated in contemporary dance in 2020 and subsequently joined IT Dansa, Barcelona, as an apprentice for the first year and then as a company dancer. During his time with IT Dansa he has worked with an extensive and varied repertoire of choreographers such as Akram Khan, Alexander Ekman, Cayetano Soto, and Ohad Naharin, among others.
