Biography

Emma Louise Walker was born in the UK. She was accepted as an associate at the Royal Ballet School at the age of ten. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Dance and Performance from the Central School of Ballet in London. During this time she participated in ‘Blink Margate’, working with Wayne McGregor | Random Dance. Emma was selected for the pilot year of Akram Khan’s AKX programme, training in ballet, contemporary, improvisation and repertoire, with teachers including Yen-Ching Lin and Andrej Petrovic. In 2018, Emma toured the UK with DeNada Dance theatre’s production ‘Toro,’ by Carlos Pons Guerra. Emma joined ŻfinMalta as an apprentice in 2015, and a full-time dancer in 2018,  working with choreographers including Paolo Mangiola, Jacopo Godani, and Tânia Carvalho. Emma now works for ŻfinMalta in marketing, content creation, education, and administration.
