Monday 5th – Saturday 10th October & Monday 12th October
ŻfinMalta company dancers will lead NÁCAR repertoire workshops in selected schools. ŻfinMalta is launching an open call for both dance schools and secondary/tertiary education institutions to apply for the opportunity of hosting one of these workshops from their own studios. Workshops are of a maximum length of two hours, and the age of participating groups is 12+.
Dive into the choreographic world of Paloma Muñoz’s ‘NÁCAR’ ahead of it’s return to Malta’s stages as part ŻfinMalta’s upcoming double-bill: EKI/ECHOES, which features two of Europe’s most innovative contemporary companies: ŻfinMalta National Dance Company, and tanzmainz.
In the return of this powerful creation by Paloma Muñoz, one of Spain’s leading choreographic voices, suspended figures appear frozen, breathing and decomposing under the gaze of others. As their flesh is exposed their bodies call out, striking one another as a call to resist and remember.

Tuesday 6th October
Wednesday 7th October
