We will then put these qualities and discoveries in practice through structured phrases and exercise\, accompanied by carefully selected\, mostly groovy music.”  \n  \n  \nAbout Zoe Camilleri  \n  \nMaltese- based freelance artist and dancer\, Zoe Camilleri\, started dancing at the age of 3 with the College of Dance. At the age of 18 she went into full- time training at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London. After graduating she returned to her home island to join the first ensemble of dancers of ŻfinMalta\, first as an apprentice and for the next three years as a full-time dancer. Throughout her career she has performed extensively both locally and internationally\, working with choreographers such as Iván Pérez\, Athanasia Kanellopoulou\, Jose Agudo\, Mavin Khoo\, Francesca Tranter\, Lucia Piquero\, Paolo Mangiola amongst others. Her roles further include that of teacher\, movement director\, choreographer and rehearsal director. With the occasional use of essential oils\, we may enhance our attention to our breath\, stimulating a deeper sensory experience as we move. You are invited to apply clarity\, relax into openness\, and be inspired through a creative flow\, to access a deeper connection to our mental and physical structure.  \n  \n  \n  \nAbout Nicola Micallef  \nNicola Micallef\, born in Malta 1999\, began her Cecchetti Classical Ballet training with the Dance Workshop\, where she developed a fascination for Contemporary Dance. She received intensive training from dance companies including Paul Taylor\, Mark Morris\, Jose Limon\, Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet\, Ballet Internationale\, Bossov Ballet Theater\, Ballet Intensive from Moscow\, and ABT. She began dancing at the age of 3 with the College of Dance in Malta\, and at 18\, she moved to London to train full-time at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. \n  \nAfter graduating\, Zoe returned to Malta and joined ŻfinMalta\, where she was part of the company’s first ensemble of dancers. She spent four years with ŻfinMalta performing locally and internationally\, working with a variety of renowned choreographers such as Iván Pérez\, Athanasia Kanellopoulou\, Jose Agudo\, Mavin Khoo\, Francesca Tranter\, Lucia Piquero\, and Paolo Mangiola. That same year\, Attila was offered an apprenticeship with the Hofesh Shechter Company in the UK. What began as a one-year opportunity\, turned into eight years as a full company member. During his time there\, he also led workshops and classes internationally\, and assisted Hofesh Shechter in a creation for the GöteborgOperans Danskompani. \n\n\n  \n\n\nIn 2019\, He created his first choreographic work for Nuova Officina della Danza in Torino. \n\n\nSince 2021\, he has been working as a freelancer\, allowing him the freedom to share his passion for dance across various countries. He has actively participated in numerous summer dance festivals as a performer\, teacher and judge\, enriching his experience and connecting him with diverse dance communities. \n\n\n  \n\n\nHe performed with: HODWORKS (Amber)\, Lyon Opera House (Le Messie)\, Frenák Company (In Time) and Sita Ostheimer Company (The Inevitable and You). In 2022\, he created his new piece for Éva Duda Dance Company in Hungary\, titled I Shall Be Free. Classes are suitable for 18+ years\, and perfect for professionals and advanced students*.  ŻfinMalta’s Company Open Class programme is tailored exclusively  to provide a space where participants can further develop their professional practice\, make connections\, and experience life inside Malta’s National Dance Company. \n  \n  \nAge: 18+* \n  \n*We consider participation from younger individuals on a case-to-case basis\, usually accepting requests from participants pursuing vocational training. Interested participants under the age of 18\, and those with queries regarding the pace of this class may contact emma-louise.walker@zfinmalta.mt in advance of booking their tickets. \n  \nCompany Open Classes are set at a professional pace suitable for the company’s dancers morning routine.  Upon the booking of tickets\, there is the assumption that participants have had experience in the practicing technique and that the class is not an introductory session for them.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][vc_column_text css=””]About Attila Rónai[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text css=””] \n\nContemporary Dancer\, Choreographer  \n\n\n  \n\n\nRónai started his dance training at the Hungarian Dance Academy\, and shortly after\, he began working and performing with various Hungarian companies and choreographers\, such as: Inversedance- Zoltán Fodor\, Gangaray Dance Company\, PR- Evolution Dance Company\, Central European Dance Theatre\, and Éva Duda Dance Company. \n\n\n  \n\n\nIn 2013\, he joined kwaad bloed/Ugo Dehaes in Belgium for the creation of Grafted. That same year\, Attila was offered an apprenticeship with the Hofesh Shechter Company in the UK. What began as a one-year opportunity\, turned into eight years as a full company member. During his time there\, he also led workshops and classes internationally\, and assisted Hofesh Shechter in a creation for the GöteborgOperans Danskompani. \n\n\n  \n\n\nIn 2019\, He created his first choreographic work for Nuova Officina della Danza in Torino. \n\n\nSince 2021\, he has been working as a freelancer\, allowing him the freedom to share his passion for dance across various countries. He has actively participated in numerous summer dance festivals as a performer\, teacher and judge\, enriching his experience and connecting him with diverse dance communities. \n\n\n  \n\n\nHe performed with: HODWORKS (Amber)\, Lyon Opera House (Le Messie)\, Frenák Company (In Time) and Sita Ostheimer Company (The Inevitable and You). In 2022\, he created his new piece for Éva Duda Dance Company in Hungary\, titled I Shall Be Free.
