ZfinMalta Special Olympics 2022 Opening - Call for Participation
ŻfinMalta – National Dance Company is calling out to all movers, shakers, dancers, dance collectives, groups or schools to participate in the Special Olympics Opening on the 14th May 2022. 

 

Join the ŻfinMalta company dancers, under the leadership of Artistic Director Paolo Mangiola, in creating, devising and performing the opening of the Special Olympics taking place in St George’s Square. 

Be a part of the Celebration!

This unique dance experience is an opportunity of self-discovery and self-learning in a safe and inclusive space, allowing participants from all dance backgrounds to share values and contribute to society through movement. 

 

 

All you need to participate is the commitment, enthusiasm and the drive to perform! 

  

Applicants are to commit to the below times and dates: 

  

Rehearsals at Mediterranean Conference Centre 

Sat 9th April 11:30 – 18:00

Sat 23rd April 11:30 – 18:00

Sat 30th April 11:30 – 18:00

Hours of participation for April rehearsals are flexible 

Applicants are to identify the ideal hours of commitment on application. 

  

General rehearsals at St. George’s Square

Sat 7th May 16:00  – 00:00 

Tue 10th May 15:00 – 23:00 

Wed 11th May 15:00 – 23:00 

Thu 12th May 15:00 – 23:00 

Fri 13th May 15:00 – 23:00 

Sat 14th Mat 15:00 – 23:00 

Commitment to General rehearsal schedule is compulsory. 

Interested participants are to send an email to project@zfinmalta.mt with their expression of interest.
Dance groups or schools may apply collectively stating the number of interested participants.
