This workshop draws from Faye’s improvisation and technical practice, adapted for young dancers. The session will build toward phrase work, introduced progressively and taught at an accessible pace.
Dancers will explore principles such as clarity, curiosity, spontaneity, efficiency, readiness, contrast, and challenge, with an emphasis on developing confidence, body awareness, and musicality. Through guided improvisation tasks and structured movement material, participants will be encouraged to take creative risks in a supportive environment.
Expect an upbeat, high-energy workshop that supports technical development while nurturing individual expression, focus, and enjoyment of movement.
Suitable for intermediate-level dance students aged 11–15.
