The sessions blend contemporary dance with somatic practices, guiding participants to listen to their internal bodyscape. Inspired by 90s pop culture music, the practice liberates the body and invites dancers to explore new movement possibilities by weaving their personal histories. As the sessions progress, participants deepen their exploration of movement intensity, quality, and the creative process of physical expression.
Rebecca Camilleri is a performer, choreographer, and bodywork therapist. Locally renowned as a member of the rubberbodies collective, she has created numerous performances and community projects. With a background in choreography, psychotherapy, and yoga, her work honors human emotion through the body and its connection to place. She is inspired by physical expression, healing, and inner exploration.
