In addition to our Monday and Tuesday evening classes, January 2024 brings three new evening classes especially dedicated to children and young people between 7-17 years old. Led by ŻfinMalta company dancers Keith Micallef, Amber Van Veen and Pearl Calleja, these classes are designed for children and young people to invest their energy into dance using creativity and imagination. No previous dance experience is required.
Keith will teach a class focusing on developing movement skills and patterns through crossings, floor-based material and standing elements. This will be done through fun and challenging, explosive patterns or strength building exercises. He’s also at least 85% guaranteed to have a cat design on his T shirt for the sessions. Come and join in the fun!
Keith Micallef trained locally, and joined ZfinMalta in 2014, and has worked with international choreographers including Paolo Mangiola, José Agudo, Jacopo Godani, Roy Assaf and Emanuel Gat.
