Four Hands, Notte Bianca

Experience this new work, choreographed by ŻfinMalta’s Artistic Director Paolo Mangiola, at Notte Bianca, Malta’s biggest annual arts and culture festival. For one special night every October, Notte Bianca lights up the Valletta cityscape with a spectacular celebration that is open to the public and free of charge.

Following in the spirit of their performance at the Valletta 2018 European Capital of Culture opening ceremony, ŻfinMalta presents a new outdoor dance piece for the beautiful Auberge de Castille courtyard. Four Hands explores the notion of unity as a response to current issues around human trafficking, and is created in support of the campaign #humanlikeyou

Four performances take place throughout the night, each for 15 minutes, with a different cast of dancers, all to the musical score of Debussy’s ‘Épigraphes Antiques’, played live by the Maltese pianists Veronique Vella and Gisele Grima.

Four Hands is a collaboration with the Parliamentary Secretariat for Reforms, Citizenship, and Simplification of Administrative Processes.
