Simon Riccardi-Zani
Simon Riccardi-Zani was born in Nice, France, in 1998. He studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School, followed by contemporary at the Paris National Conservatoire, and joined ŻfinMalta in 2019. Simon’s interest in choreography led to an invitation to create a duet for ‘ŻfinMade – New Futures’ in 2022. The work, Les Unes, was also performed at Dance Festival Malta in 2024. In 2024, Simon represented France in the Franco-German Pavilion for the inaugural Malta Biennale with a second dance film Les Uns, which was also shown at the United Nations Ocean Conference in 2025. For ŻfinMalta’s 2024/25 season, Simon choreographed Les Autres, a new work for the full company as part of ŻfinDays.
