Albert Garrell

Albert’s choreographic workshops explore movement through his own physical and choreographic material, using it as a starting point for individual discovery and interpretation. Through movement phrases and creative tasks, participants can investigate dynamics, breath, spatial awareness and the way movement travels through the body.

“My movement language becomes a tool for participants to explore their own physicality, creativity and ways of moving through a proposed material. The workshop ultimately creates an open space for exchange, curiosity and the development of movement through both individual and collective experiences.”

Albert Garrell is a movement artist and creator whose work explores critical and social concepts reflecting the complexities of the human experience.

Trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and the Hamburg Ballet School in Germany, Albert began his professional career with IT Dansa before joining renowned companies including Introdans in the Netherlands and Staatstheater Wiesbaden in Germany.

Throughout his career, he has performed works by celebrated choreographers including Alexander Ekman, Ohad Naharin, Jo Strømgren, Stijn Celis, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Gustavo Ramírez and Jiří Kylián, among others.

As an international guest teacher and choreographer, Albert continues to develop his artistic practice through teaching, performance and creation. He is the founder and artistic director of LAB3.14, a Barcelona-based collective. His productions, including CHROMA, the film STATE OF HOAX, and TENDER SKIN, have been presented at choreographic competitions and festivals across Spain and Europe.

In January 2026, Albert joined Of Curious Nature as Rehearsal Director — a role reflecting his commitment to artistic collaboration and creative development, and contributing his experience, vision, and curiosity toward expanding the company’s artistic language and evolving its distinctive choreographic identity, whilst working closely with Artistic Director Helge Letonja and the company’s artistic team.

Andrea Martín Albert

Andrea Martín’s lively workshops place creativity, coordination and physical awareness at the centre, approached through play and imagination.

Participants will explore short choreographic sequences to energise the body, improvisation tasks that spark creativity, and movement tasks designed to develop speed, focus and attention.

The workshop encourages participants to discover different ways of moving while responding to rhythm, space, others and their own curiosity.

Andrea Martín was born and raised in Barcelona. At the age of 10, she joined the conservatoire for dance at Institut del Teatre, where she trained and graduated in ballet.

She subsequently joined the contemporary youth company IT Dansa, touring nationally and internationally. From 2019 to 2021, Andrea was a permanent member of ŻfinMalta, before joining the ensemble of Theater Bielefeld in Germany from 2021 to 2025, working under the direction of Felix Landerer from 2023 to 2025.

Since 2025, Andrea has been working as a freelance dancer and artist.

Her experience across ballet, contemporary dance, company work and independent practice informs a workshop approach that combines physicality, creativity, play and exploration.
