Contemporary with Andrea Martín Albert
From the 2nd-6th February join international guest artist Andrea Martín Albert (ITDansa, ŻfinMalta, Theater Bielefeld) for a week of professional contemporary classes, focused on bodily awareness, physical control, and gaining consciousness within the flow of movement. Andrea’s classes aim to prepare the body gently for the day ahead, using a mix of organised and fluid movements, and integrating floor technique.
Andrea Martín was born and raised in Barcelona. At the age of 10 she joined the conservatoire for dance Institut del Teatre, where she trained and graduated from ballet studies. She immediately joined the contemporary youth company ITDansa, with whom she toured both nationally and internationally. After three years, she became a permanent member of ZfinMalta from 2019-2021.
From 2021-2025, she then joined the ensemble of Theater Bielefeld and worked under the direction of Felix Landerer from 2023-2025. She started freelancing in 2025.
