This class offers an immersive encounter with Jacob Gómez’s physical and creative methodology, combining improvisation and technical practice through an imaginative, embodied approach. Participants are invited to expand physical limits, sharpen perception, and allow organic, responsive movement to emerge.
The session begins with dynamic explorations that activate internal listening, rhythmic awareness, and presence. Through clear tasks and visual or auditory stimuli, dancers cultivate a state of alert freedom, where precision and spontaneity coexist.
Choreographic sequences are then introduced as investigative tools, deepening understanding of physicality, energetic continuity, and interpretative choice. Jacob’s practice centres on the development of a living, expressive body—one that moves beyond form to communicate truth through physical and emotional presence.
